That is what we are hunting for, not a rule. A brilliant card from the 20% beats an average one from the 50%.
If we say no
We turn down good work all the time. A rejection is not a verdict on your cards. Sometimes we already have a similar style, a similar theme, or a similar joke. Sometimes it is just not quite the fit for the shop right now. We will tell you what we can, but we cannot always give detailed feedback on every design, so please do not read silence as criticism.
A rejected design can be edited and resubmitted, and you are always welcome to send us something new.

What we look for
We’re building a strong, distinctive catalogue. We’re looking for:
- Original work you own the rights to
- Strong, clear visual identity
- Print-ready quality
- Good taste (even if it’s rude)
- Thoughtful humour or genuine emotion
- Designs people would actually send
We are not looking for:
- Trademark infringement
- AI-scraped or stolen artwork
- Low-resolution files
- Generic template designs
If your work is copied
A design copied from another creator on Vibe Card is removed within one working day of a report. Report a copy from the design's own page, signed in as a creator, and a person looks at it.
If your work is copied somewhere else, tell us and we will support you.
Commission & payouts
Creators earn an industry-leading rate on every card sold, set out in the creator terms. We set the retail pricing to maintain platform consistency.
Approved before 1 April 2027? You are a founding creator, and you keep your launch rate for good.
Your sales and earnings are on a live dashboard: every sale shows as it happens, with what it earned you. No waiting for a monthly spreadsheet.
Creators are paid monthly, on the 1st, through Stripe, once they have earned at least £10, as set out in the Creator Terms.
You can request removal of your designs at any time.
File requirements
We accept: JPG or PNG, up to 25MB, in sRGB.
Square, at least 1819 by 1819 pixels (154mm at 300dpi with 3mm bleed). Keep type at least 10mm inside the trim: advice, not something we check.
Explicit or 18+ humour is allowed, but must be marked correctly.
FAQ
- How long does review take?
- Most applications are reviewed within a few working days.
- How long does it take to review a design?
- Every uploaded card is reviewed within five working days, usually sooner.
- Do I need a registered company?
- No. You can apply as an individual.
- Can I upload multiple styles?
- Yes. As long as the quality is consistent.
- Can I remove my designs later?
- Yes. You stay in control of your work.
- Who owns the artwork?
- You do. You grant us the right to print and sell it through Vibe Card.
- Do you use AI on my artwork?
- Your artwork will never be used to train AI. However, we do use AI for one job: writing your listing. When you upload a design, the image and your notes are sent to OpenAI, whose models suggest the title, description, alt text, search tags and age rating we use to list the card and help customers find it. Nothing is generated from your design: we never make new images, variations or other designs from it, and the mockups on your card's page are your artwork placed into our templates by ordinary image software. No other AI service receives your artwork. OpenAI may keep what we send for a limited period, but under its terms for businesses using its API, what we send is not used to train its models unless we opt in, and we do not.
