Terms of sale
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Who you are buying from
These terms are between you and Vibe Card. Contact hello@vibe-card.com. Our legal details are in section 14.
These terms apply to every order placed on vibe-card.com. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not affect your rights under consumer law.
2. What we sell
Greeting cards, printed to order from designs by independent creators. Every card is 148 x 148mm folded, printed on 300gsm Invercote G board, and sent in a 135gsm kraft envelope at 155 x 155mm. We print in Kent on a Ricoh digital press.
We do not hold stock. Your card does not exist until you order it.
3. Your account
You need to be 16 or over to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for what happens under your account.
Some cards carry adult humour. We show them only to customers who have told us they are 18 or over, and that is why we ask for your date of birth once, at sign-in. If you are 18 or over you can turn them off in your account settings.
You can close your account at any time from your account settings. Section 9 of the privacy policy says what that deletes and what we keep.
4. Placing an order
When you pay, we send you a confirmation email. That email is our acceptance of your order and forms the contract between us. If we cannot accept an order, for example because a design has been withdrawn, we will tell you and refund you in full.
If your basket contains cards going out on different days, each date becomes its own order. You pay once. Your confirmation lists every order and its reference.
Check the address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the recipient's name and address. We print what you give us. A card sent to a wrong or incomplete address is not our fault, though we will help where we can.
5. Prices and payment
Cards are £3.69 each, including VAT at 20%. Postage is charged per envelope, as shown at checkout, and includes VAT. Our VAT number is GB302033670.
If you buy more than one card in an order, every card after the first is discounted by 10%. There is no limit on the number of discounted cards.
Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see your card details.
The 10 Club. Every card you buy earns a stamp. 9 stamps earns a free card, applied at checkout, so it is 10 cards for the price of 9. Stamps are personal to your account, have no cash value, and are removed if an order is refunded in full.
6. Printing
We print every working day at 14:00. An order paid before 14:00 on a working day is printed and posted that day. An order paid after 14:00, or on a weekend or bank holiday, is printed on the next working day. Your confirmation email tells you the print day.
Scheduled sends. You can choose the day you want a card to arrive, up to 18 months ahead. We work out the print day from your chosen arrival date and the delivery service, print it near the date, and post it the same day. Your confirmation tells you when we will print it. You pay when you order, not when we print.
We may refuse to print a message that is unlawful, threatening, or that we reasonably believe would cause serious offence to the recipient. If we do, we will tell you and refund the order.
7. Delivery
Dispatch. Cards are posted by Royal Mail from Kent, on the print day. An order paid by 14:00 on a working day is dispatched that day; one paid later, or on a weekend or bank holiday, is dispatched on the next working day (section 6).
You choose the service at checkout, for each envelope. The price for each is shown before you pay.
| Service | Delivery time | Tracked |
|---|---|---|
| 2nd Class, up to seven cards | 3 to 6 working days from posting | No |
| 2nd Class, eight or more cards (Tracked 48) | 2 to 4 working days from posting | Yes |
| 1st Class, up to seven cards | 1 to 4 working days from posting | No |
| Express (Royal Mail Tracked 24), any number of cards | 1 to 2 working days from posting | Yes |
| Special Delivery by 1pm (Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed), any number of cards | the next working day by 13:00, guaranteed by Royal Mail | Yes |
Eight or more cards on 1st Class go Express, which is the same Royal Mail service at the same price. The card count is per envelope, to one address.
Delivery times. For 2nd Class, 1st Class and Express, the delivery times are Royal Mail's own estimates plus one working day. They are estimates of when the card will arrive, not a promise of a particular day. Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays. We show you the estimated arrival at checkout and in your confirmation, and for a scheduled send we choose the print day so that the card arrives by your chosen date at the slow end of the estimate.
Special Delivery. The guarantee of delivery by 13:00 on the next working day is Royal Mail's, under Royal Mail's terms for Special Delivery Guaranteed. We post the card, so a claim under that guarantee is made through us: if a Special Delivery card arrives late, tell us through your account and we will make the claim to Royal Mail for you. Any compensation Royal Mail pays on a failed Special Delivery guarantee is passed to you in full. Making a claim does not take away any right you have against us.
Tracking. Tracked services are handed to Royal Mail as tracked items, and when one is posted we email you its tracking number with a link to Royal Mail's tracking page.
The card is our responsibility until it arrives. Whichever service you choose, a card is at our risk until it is delivered to the address you gave us. If it is lost or damaged on the way, section 8 says how we put it right.
8. Cancelling and refunds
Before we print. You can cancel any order from your account at any time before it is claimed for printing. We refund you in full. For a scheduled send that can be weeks or months.
After we print. Once a card is printed it has been made for you.
- A card with a printed message inside is personalised. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you do not have a right to cancel it after it is made.
- A card with nothing printed inside is not personalised. You may cancel within 14 days of receiving it and return it to us at your cost, unused, for a refund of the card price.
Faulty, damaged or missing cards. If your card arrives damaged, misprinted, or does not arrive at all, tell us through your account within 30 days. Give us a photo if you can. A person reviews every report and decides what to put right, usually within two working days. Depending on what went wrong we will reprint and resend, or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.
For untracked services we ask you to wait until six working days after the print day, or the end of your estimated arrival window, whichever is later, before reporting a card as missing, because until then it is still inside the delivery window.
We reserve the right to decline repeated claims where the pattern suggests abuse.
Refunds are made to the payment method you used, within 14 days of our decision.
9. Messages and content
You are responsible for anything you write inside a card. Do not include anything unlawful, defamatory, threatening, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse to print such a message under section 6.
We store your message so we can print it and reprint it if needed. Our privacy policy explains for how long.
10. Designs and intellectual property
Every design on Vibe Card belongs to the creator who made it, or to us. Buying a card gives you the physical card. It does not give you any right to copy, reproduce or reuse the design.
11. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to exclude.
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
12. Keeping the shop safe
A person approves every card before it goes on sale. Cards with adult humour are shown only to customers who have told us they are 18 or over. We do not sell cards that are hateful or that target a person or a group of people on the basis of a protected characteristic. If a card looks to you like it crosses that line, tell us at hello@vibe-card.com or through the contact page. Every report is read by a person, investigated, and acted on where the line has been crossed.
13. Problems and complaints
Email hello@vibe-card.com or use the issue form in your account. If we cannot resolve a dispute, you may use the Online Dispute Resolution platform or take the matter to court. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
